Two Months and Great!

Mason had his two month check up yesterday. He did great. He had three shots so both of his chubby little legs are sore today. He weighed in at 11lbs 5ozs and was 23 3/4" long. That puts him in the 75% for height and 50% for weight. Meaning...he will be tall and thin! His eyes changed from the new born dark to this beautiful dark blue and he is laughing. The thing he findes funniest...his big sister. He is getting up once a night at 3:30 for a feeding and then again at 7:00. So that isn't so bad!

Jaci finally started acting out...it started first with the spray bottles. Anything in a spray bottle was sprayed until empty in what ever room she was in...which was ok when she spary cleaner in the kitchen...but not ok when a whole bottle of pledge ended up in my bed! Then she cut her hair. Then she moved on to throwing tantrums! SUPER! This went on for about a week and we realized she just needed a little more attention. So Saturday morning Jason played tea party in her room all morning and then I took her to lunch and we went grocery shopping together, just the two of us. Now she is acting much better!

Jason and I started working out Feb 1st. It is going pretty well, all except for the pain I feel every morning in my butt! Hopefully I will be able to put a bathing suit on by summer.
All our love-

Two Kids Twice as Sick

There is a nice little learning curve with two children, I keep telling myself Jason and I are catching on well. Mason was five weeks old and older sister Jaci is holding him. Jaci has a runny nose and a cough nothing I am too concerned about because she is almost three and has her share of colds. Then she turns to Mason and leans in to kiss him...instead showers him in the face with an adult sneeze. I am instantly horrified my toddler with a normal cold has just soaked my newborn in germs! One week later: Mason has a cold, we are talking a cough most smokers don't have and snot you wouldn't believe. So like any new mom I rush him to the doctor...yep, he has a cold. Three days pass, he is worse...back to the doctor. Yep, still sick, but now he has an ear infection SUPER! 10 days of an antibiotic later and NO visitors Mason is doing better. Almost one week later Jaci has a 104 temp. and is starting with the runny nose again. Four days later, Mason is grumpy with a runny nose...WILL IT STOP!? Tune in soon...
