Christmas at The Worrell's

Christmas at The Worrell's this year was a little different. We didn't go anywhere, we stayed home and had Christmas come to us. It was nice. I made a Christmas Ham, which I think is a normal ham you just make it on Christmas, and my parents and sister came over for lunch. Jason's family was there in the evening for Jason's 29th birthday, along with our favorite neighbors from the west side...Chuck and Vicki and Brandon and Brittney. They also brought a whole nother round of presents for Jaclynn. After it was all said an done, Jason and I were picking up the living room and realized between the two of us we opened maybe two presents. Jaclynn opened eveything else. She didn't care whose presents they were, she was opening them. But among all the things she had under the tree, her Barbies take the cake. She plays with those thing night and day. Even Jason likes to play them, although he is having a bit of an issue with naked Barbie just hanging out in the Barbie VW Beetle. He is looking for a clothed Barbie at ALL times. We hope you all had a great Christmas too!

Mason's First Smile

Last night Jaci held Mason forever, we found that Mason loves to be held on your chest. So Jaci wanted to hold Mason like the rest of us, she was so proud of herself that she put him to sleep and was so comfy...then...just as I went to take the second picture...Mason smiled! He must have been super comfy and happy on his sister's chest too. They are soooo fun.

Early Christmas Gifts

Christmas came a little early for Jaclynn on Wednesday. The UPS man who she calls her "dress guy" brought a HUGE package from Grandma and Grandpa Worrell in Atlanta. After some conversation with Grandpa Worrell Jaci was allowed to open her gifts early, which lead into opening Mason's gift for him. Jaci was super excited to see this whole Christmas thing at work. Then she proceeded to tell us all the things that Santa would be bringing her. We had to cut her off when she said he was bringing her a car and that only little girls named Jaclynn get gifts from Santa on Christmas eve. Thank you to the Worrell's for the kids gifts, ours are under the tree and we will open them Christmas morning!

Well, we are all home now. Jaclynn is so good with her new brother. She loves to hold him and is always PUSHING his nuk in his mouth. Mason has adjusted to the outside world great. He is an big eater and is a great sleeper. All the things you are looking for a baby to do. Not to mention, he is kind of cute! Out first night home Mason didn't wake up until 4 am and that was only because I woke him up.
Mommy, Daddy and Big Sister are all doing pretty well with the adjustment too. Daddy is SOOO glad we are all home now, and is love having his whole family. We are glad to be here!

He is the cuttest little snuggle bug and loves to be held. Mason and I are heading home today and can't wait to be home with the whole family. So be looking for more updates.
